§ 17-1. Curfew for minors.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any minor, under seventeen (17) years of age, to be found on any street, alley, public highway, or on any other public place within this city after 11:00 p.m., unless accompanied by his parents, guardian or some other competent person, or without the written consent of his parent or guardian. All persons so found shall be deemed in violation of this section and shall be taken into custody under the Juvenile Statutes of the State of Missouri.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or person having the legal care or custody of any minor mentioned in subsection (a) to allow or permit such minor to be out on any street, alley, public highway or on any public place within this city after 11:00 p.m., as specified in subsection (a).
