§ 17-89. Abandoned airtight containers.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person in the city to store any unused or abandoned icebox or refrigerator on a porch, in a basement, in a vacant room, within a building or on the premises out-of-doors, or any other place where a child may or could at any time have access or come in contact therewith, without first having removed or destroyed any locking equipment or any device or thing by which it might be possible for any child to become locked within such refrigerator or icebox.
