§ 17-92. Discharging firearms.

(a)

No person within this city shall fire or discharge any rifle, shotgun, carbine, musket, pistol, revolver or other firearm or ordnance.

(b)

Nothing in this section shall be so construed as to prevent the discharge of firearms by the state militia on parade day or by any detachment of the United States Army when commanded to do so by the proper officer; nor shall it be construed so as to prevent the firing of cannons or other firearms on days of public celebration.
