§ 27-11. Definitions.

As used in this article the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them:

Public taxicab shall mean a motor vehicle used or offered for use to the public by a public taxicab business, or by any person, for the purpose of carrying or transporting passengers for a charge or fee.

Public taxicab business shall mean the business offered to the general public for the carrying or transportation of passengers for a charge or fee by means of motor vehicles.
