§ 28-40. Application for service; contents; cash deposit.

(a)

Any person desiring a connection to an existing water main of the municipal water system of this city shall apply in writing to the city water clerk on a form furnished for that purpose for a permit to make a connection with the water pipes.

(b)

Every application for a connection shall contain an exact description of the property to be served, the probable maximum amount of water to be used per month and the uses to which water is to be put, both general and special. The application shall state the name of the licensed plumbing contractor who will do the work, and shall be signed by the contractor.

(c)

A cash deposit of not less than the amount set forth in this article shall be paid in full at the time the application is submitted.
