§ 28-44. Inspection and turning on of water.

  • No water will be turned on in any building or premises until the plumbing work has been inspected by the city water inspector or other city officer or employee designated to do such work by the city council. A written report must be filed in the office of the superintendent that the work is in conformity with the rules and regulations of the water department and with the city ordinances. Application for inspection shall be made by the owner or plumber doing plumbing on any building prior to the roughing-in of the plumbing work on such building and again after the plumbing work has been finished.
