§ 28-66. Tap fees.

  • The fees for making taps to the city water system shall be as follows:

    A primary deposit will be placed with the water department in an amount not less than six hundred dollars ($600.00) per three-quarter (¾) and one-inch water line. One thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per two-inch water line, one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) per four-inch water line, and two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) per six (6) inch water line. All materials including meters used in such taps shall become the property of the City of Crystal City.

    All water taps performed by the City of Crystal City Water Department, shall be charged the actual costs of material and labor plus there shall be an added twenty (20) per cent charge of the total bill.
