§ 28-79. Unauthorized persons not to tamper with meters.

No person, unless properly authorized by the city council or authorized city personnel, shall connect, remove, repair or otherwise disturb any water meter, nor turn the supply of water into a service pipe from which the supply has been turned off by the city on account of nonpayment of water rates, or for any other reason.
